He provides a holistic approach and is interested in both the condition involved as well as the impact the condition is having on the person as a whole. His management approach is collaborative with the patient and their treating team, with the ultimate aim being to find a treatment that improves people's function and well-being.
Dr Tom moved to Hobart in 2007 for medical school and very quickly fell in love with Tasmania and all it has to offer. After finishing medical school in Hobart he then worked at the Royal Hobart Hospital as a doctor before starting his fellowship training. Subsequently he has worked as a GP in Hobart before embarking on a lap of Australia with his wife and two young children.
Initially drawn to medicinal cannabis as a safer alternative to opiates and benzodiazepines, Dr Tom has quickly discovered how powerful this medication can be for patients and he is excited to be introducing this medication as a viable options for patients and doctors. His special interests include chronic pain, sleep disorders and mental health conditions but he is experienced in most general practice presentations.
Dr Ashleigh has special interests in women’s health, Indigenous Health, mental health and providing holistic care through working with patients.
When she isn’t raising babies, studying languages, growing veggies, playing in bands, she is training to specialise in Psychiatry.

In addition to being a clinical doctor, Dr Ashleigh holds a Master of Public Health (with Excellence) from UNSW and has a background in the Arts with a Bachelor of Creative Arts and a Diploma in Ceramics.
She is also excited to be contributing to the growing evidence base for the use of medicinal cannabis through the QUEST study.
Dr Simran is a dual trained clinical pharmacist and medical doctor who is currently specialising in psychiatry. She has a special interest in the field of addiction and pain medicine.
Beyond professional pursuits, Simran loves going for long drives, enjoying family moments and culinary adventures, often accompanied by her beloved dog.

Born in Hawaii but raised in Australia, he graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery.

His pharmacy experience has informed his holistic approach to medicine and the role allied health can play to assist to solve health issues from multiple perspectives.
He has a love of cooking, travel and improving education through information technology. He is excited in educating people about the increasing evidence base of natural medicine.
Dr Simon is particularly interested in assisting veterans who have long term issues of juggling multiple medications and their side effects including chronic pain, insomnia and mental health
